Welcome to the 13th Prairie Conservation and Endangered Species Conference! Held every three years since 1986, this is the premier conference for scientists, landowners, consultants, educators, nature enthusiasts, land managers, and others to share information and new approaches to conservation, agriculture and protection of prairie landscapes and native species.

The conference is being held for the first time at the Calgary Zoo on February 21-23, 2023. This year, the theme of the conference is “Prairie Collaboration, Connection, and Conservation (PC3)”. The Calgary Zoo is one of Alberta’s favourite attractions and will serve as a fantastic venue to collaborate and connect with the common goal of conserving our prairie ecosystems. During three packed days of sessions, plenaries and posters, the PCESC will bring together individuals from a variety of sectors, all working towards prairie conservation.

Countless efforts are made throughout the Prairie Provinces to conserve our remaining grasslands and prairie species and we are looking forward to learning from researchers, conservation groups, ranchers, First Nations and networking with all of you again!

See you at the PCESC in February 2023!
